Itinerary :

8:30 AM – Departure from Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore

Sightseeing – Rajwada, Kaanch Mandir, Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Central Museum, Lal-Bagh Palace.

Tour will start from M.P. Tourism Regional Office and will proceed towards –
Rajwada - Rajwada is a historical palace in Indore city. It was built by the Holkars of the Maratha Empire about two centuries ago. This seven storied structure is located near the Chhatris and serves today as a fine example of Royal grandeur and architectural skills.

Kaanch Mandir - The Kanch Mandir, is entirely made up of glass and mirrors. It is also known as the Seth Hukamchand Temple, as it was built by the "Cotton King" Sir Hukamchand Seth in the early 20th century. It is primarily a Jain temple and is a wonder in glass. The walls, ceiling, floor, pillars, doors, everything here is entirely adorned with glass.

Khajrana Temple – Built in the year 1857 during the reign of Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar, this temple is one of the famous Hindu temples in India. The gate and the outer wall of the Garbhagriha is made of silver and different moods and festivals are depicted on it. The eyes of the deity are made of diamonds which were donated by a business man of Indore.

Central Museum - The Museum exhibits the finest collection of Parmar and Gupta sculptures which have been collected from the ruins of the 11th-12th century temples at Hinglajgarh. The Parmar style actually originated here only. Its main features include proportioned figures, careful and intricate ornamentation and depiction in stone. There are two galleries in the Museum. Gallery I display artifacts from MP's prehistoric period ranging from 5,000 - 4,000BC. All the Hindu mythological carvings have been displayed in Gallery II.

Lal Bagh Palace - Built by Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar in 1886-1921. The gates of the Palace are a replica of the gates of Buckingham palace (London). They also carry the Holkar State Emblem which states "He who tries will succeed". The rooms of the palace have now been turned into a museum. The main attractions of the palace are the accurately proportioned and furnished rooms, with beautiful carvings on the walls as well as the ceilings. There is a coin collection on the first floor which dates back to the Muslim period.

After visiting Lal Bagh Palace the Tour will terminate at 8:30AM - Pickup from Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore at 2 p.m.

Mandu - Day Excursion – (Tour Code – 02)

Indore to Mandu distance 100Km Visit

JahazMahal – Jahaz Mehal/Ship Palace Situated between two artificial lakes, this two storied architectural marvel is so named as it appears as a ship floating in water. Built by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-Khilji, it served as a harem for the sultan. It is a major tourist attraction and presents many scenic views and photographic opportunities.

Jami Masjid - Jami Masjid Inspired by the great mosque of Damascus, this humongous structure is striking in both its simplicity and architectural style-with large courtyards and grand entrances.

Hoshangshah's Tomb - India's first marble structure, it is one of the most refined examples of Afghan architecture. Its unique features include the beautifully proportioned dome, intricate marble lattice work and porticoed courts and towers. It served as a template for the construction of Taj Mahal.

After lunch Roopmati Pavilion and Bazbahadur Palace. After evening tea, departure for Indore. Drop at Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore

Ujjain - Day Excursion (Tour Code – 03)

Indore to Ujjain, distance 55km

Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and other temples. Evening free for shopping. After evening tea, departure for Indore.

One of Hinduism’s seven sacred cities, Ujjain boasts a wealth of cultural heritage, largely in the form of temples. Situated on the banks of the Shipra River, the city dates back to 600 BC and was once the residence of Ashoka. It was also the political and commercial hub of central India and the capital of the ancient Avanti Kingdom.

Ujjain’s spiritual charm is undeniable. The famous poet, Kalidas, described it as ‘the town fallen from Heaven to bring Heaven to Earth’. The many temples give you glimpses of a glorious past. This is one city that will take you back to your childhood history books.

Omkareshwar – Maheshwar Tour (Tour Code 04): (1 Night / 2 Days)



Day 1

Early morning departure for Omkareshwar (87km), Sightsee the sacred town & Ghats. One of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas' in India is enshrined here in the temple of Shri OmkarMandhata. After lunch, departure for Maheshwar (62km)
Overnight stay at Narmada Retreat, Maheshwar.

Day 2

After Breakfast departure for sightseeing temple town on the banks of the river Narmada which finds mention in the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata. The place was revived to its ancient position of importance by the Holkar queen Rani Ahilyabai of Indore. Maheshwar's temples and mighty fort-complex stand in quiet beauty, mirrored in the river below. Today, Maheshwar is also known for its distinctive hand woven sarees called 'Maheshwari'. After lunch, return to Indore.

Omkareshwar - Ujjain (Jyotirlinga Darshan) Tour (Tour Code - 05): (1 Night/2Days)



Day 1

Early morning departure for Omkareshwar (78km) and sightsee the sacred town and ghats and the picturesque surroundings. Another among the twelve 'jyotirlingas' in India is enshrined here in the temple of Shri OmkarMandhata.
After lunch, departure for Ujjain (131 km) evening SEL show & overnight stay at Shipra Residency, Ujjain.

Day 2

Early departure for Mahakaleshwar Mandir, The most prominent of all temples, whichhouses one of the 12 jyotirlingas in India. After Breakfast, departure for sightseeing.

Magical Mandu Tour (Tour Code 06): 1 Night/ 2 Days



Day 1

Departure for Mandu (99 Km) away from Indore.(2:30 hours approx). After lunch departure for sightseeing. Visit JahazMahal which is in shape of ship 120 mtr. Long built between two artificial lakes. Other monuments include HindolaMahal, AshrafiMahal, Roopmati Pavilion, Rewa Kund, Jami Masjid, BazBahadur Palace.

Day 2

After breakfast, sightseeing. Departure for Indore (99 Km).
